The general objective of the e-VENTURE project is “To promote entrepreneurship among young people with fewer opportunities in the EU, through gamification methodologies and ICT.”

Keywords: European Project, KA2. E-VENTURE, young people, entrepreneurship, gamification

As a result of more than two years of work (2022-2024), two great tools have been obtained through NICT with free and open access, for young Europeans with fewer opportunities. The project focuses on the development of educational tools and innovative digital methodologies; promote the acquisition of youth work skills; promote the autonomy of young people; promote employability, as well as the exchange of good practices and social entrepreneurship initiatives.

Online training and gamification experience

The e-VENTURE Entrepreneurship Guide (training course) has been developed, which offers content, resources, tools, activities and methodologies, aimed at professionals in the youth field. The idea is to facilitate youth support in processes of creation and implementation of business ideas.

Also, there is the digital gamified experience: Startup Quest Bakery e-VENTURE, a simulation game that challenges players to successfully create and manage a bakery as a social enterprise, serving as a dynamic introduction to embark on an adventure in the world of entrepreneurship, and testing your decision making at a strategic level.

Once set up, players take charge of monthly production decisions. They can monitor bakery performance through simple financial reporting, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure growth and sustainability. The objective is to achieve profitability within 36 months, positively impacting society and reducing the environmental footprint of the business.

Youth entrepreneurship opportunities

More than 200 people have participated in the project (youth workers, social educators and young people) from countries such as Spain, Italy, Greece and Romania. The coordinating entity of the project is the Fundació Eveho (Spain), accompanied by the partners LiberaMente (Italy), Arsis (Greece) and Predict (Romania).

The online training course contains 5 modules: Introduction to social economy; Knowledge of the context in which we move; Creation and design of your own adventure as an entrepreneur; Business digitization; and Coaching for entrepreneurs. The e-VENTURE project is a Key Action 2 (KA2) project of cooperation between organizations, co-financed by the Erasmus + program of the European Union, with the collaboration and support of the Spanish National Agency (ANE).

“Bootcamp” in Spain: final international meeting

20 young people and professionals participated, who had the opportunity to live together for 5 days in a house where workshops and activities were constant. First-hand experiences of success of young entrepreneurs were shared, getting closer to the concepts and, above all, collaborating together to look for business ideas that help solve the problems and barriers found in different countries. The business ideas of the young beneficiaries were presented in order to receive the support of the project’s partner organizations.
